Warner Robins baseball team wins at Little League state tournament

The Warner Robins American Little League 11-12-year-old baseball team beat Elbert County 10-0 on Sunday in the state tournament in Athens.

Warner Robins pounded out 13 hits and scored a single run in each of the first two innings. It added two more in the third and put the game away with six in the fourth.

Jeremy White had a three-run home run, and Jackson Nipper had a solo home run. White had three RBI on three hits.

Warner Robins plays Cartersville at 8 p.m. on Monday.
