The Dudley Little League 11-12-year-old baseball team claimed the District 5 tournament title and will play in the state tournament, which begins July 22 in Peachtree City.

In the district tournament, Dudley lost its opening game to Warner Robins West (4-0) but then won four straight games to claim the title. Dudley beat Vine Ingle (9-0) and Warner Robins East (10-2) and then beat Warner Robins West (12-1 and 10-4) for the tournament championship.

The team is made up of Brock Morgan, Ty Orr, Tucker Brown, Sean Luke Green, Camden Thomas, Garrett Young, Tyler Martin, Janson Meeks, Eli Floyd, Luke Goodwin, Gunnar Jeffers, William Kellam and Matthew Thigpen.

The head coach is Doug Floyd, and the assistant coaches are Vic Thigpen and Brian Brown. The league president is Jason Locke.
