Macon Mayhem's Schiavo moving to ECHL

Macon Mayhem right wing John Schiavo is headed west after being loaned to the Missouri Mavericks of the ECHL.

Schiavo, a 5-foot-10, 180-pounder from East Patchogue, New York, appeared in five of the Mayhem's six games this season. He has four assists, and is plus three. This is his first season of professional hockey.

The Mayhem open a four-game homestand at the Macon Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. Friday against Mississippi. Home games follow on Saturday and Sunday.
