Macon Mayhem lose to Peoria

The Macon Mayhem and Peoria Rivermen play in back-to-back games Friday and Saturday in SPHL play, and the Rivermen scored late Friday and held on for a 4-3 win.

Macon started the scoring as Mark Rivera scored on the power play off assists from Ryan Michel and Jake Trask. John Siemer scored the second goal for the Mayhem, and Daniel Gentzler added the third.

But that wasn’t enough to hold off the Rivermen.
