FPD boys and girls, Stratford girls finish in top five in GHSA golf

The FPD boys and girls golf teams and the Stratford girls team all finished in the top five in the GHSA championships Monday.

FPD’s boys finished second, 10 strokes behind champion Brookstone. Stratford’s boys finished sixth.

Stratford’s girls finished third, five shots ahead of fourth-place FPD. Stratford’s Josie Coleman finished third in the individual race with a 79.

Vidalia’s girls team was the only Middle Georgia team to win a title, taking the Class AA crown by four shots. Layne Carter finished second and Jesse Dalton fifth.
