FPD-Stratford girls soccer showdown rained out

Two of the top girls soccer teams in GHSA Class A were supposed to meet Thursday night.

The weather won out instead.

FPD, the top-ranked team in Class A according to Score Atlanta, was supposed to host No. 3 Stratford. They will now play at 7 p.m. on April 21.

The boys game took place as scheduled, with Stratford winning 8-0. Curtis Donner had four goals, with Zane Holliman scoring three and Georgios Iakovidis adding another. Jake Jamison had two assists as Stratford (7-3) outshot FPD (5-4-2) 30-2.
