Friday's GHSA Tournament games
Class AA
Crawford County (Region 4, first, 24-3) vs. Holy Innocents (Region 6, fourth, 20-9)
4:45 p.m., at Georgia College
The Golden Bears have a pair of 6-foot-7 players and a 6-4 junior named Julius Erving. They know how to win close games, with a 10-5 record in games decided by single digits. They also have won games on buzzer-beaters in the past two weeks and are 14-6 away from home. And three teams from Region 6 are left, so the 7-7 region record is deceiving.
Next: Thomasville/Pace winner, 4:45 p.m., Saturday, at Georgia College.
