BEAU CABELL/THE TELEGRAPHMacon, Ga., 02/12/2016: Central's Tyrice Paul (4) collides with Westside's Khavon Moore (35) as he breaks the full court press in the second half. bcabell@macon.com
Class AAAAA

Ware County (Region 3, fourth, 17-13) at Warner Robins (Region 2, first, 20-2), 6 p.m.

Ware County is a tough fourth seed, going 12-4 in 2016 after getting its football players back. Warner Robins has won 15 straight games.

Jones County (Region 2, fourth, 15-12) at Camden County (Region 3, first, 21-5), 7 p.m.

The Greyhounds are slumping a bit and need balance, because Camden County -- a winner of five straight -- will try to smother Devin Wooten (24.5 points per game).

Class AAAA

New Hampstead (Region 3, fourth, 16-10) at Upson-Lee (Region 2, first, 23-3), 6 p.m.

Upson-Lee has won 17 straight, which means nothing if the Knights can't handle prosperity. New Hampstead, however, better be ready for a loud overflow crowd.

Burke County (Region 3, third, 16-7) at Mary Persons (Region 2, second, 16-11), 6 p.m.

Burke County is 6-3 on the road and has won five of its past six. Mary Persons has three losses of more than six points -- to Upson-Lee, Perry and Class AAAAA Northside, all in December -- and is playing well.

Perry (Region 2, third, 18-10) at Thomson (Region 3, second, 18-8), 7:30 p.m.

Perry has to be extra sharp against a team with height (standout San Antonio Brinson is 6-foot-8, six players are 6-3 or taller) but one that is also 2-4 this month.

Howard (Region 2, fourth) 11-15) at Liberty County (Region 3, first, 23-1), 6 p.m.

Howard would be a darkhorse if not facing a second-ranked one-loss team with Davion Mitchell (24.1 points per game) and Georgia football recruit Richard LeCounte (20.6 points per game, 5.1 assists per game).

Class AAA

Josey (Region 3, fourth, 12-11) at Central (Region 2, first, 25-2), 6 p.m.

Sixth-ranked Central has won 18 straight and is unbeaten at home, but Josey had a stronger non-region schedule and split with fourth-ranked Laney.

Butler (Region 3, third, 14-9) at Westside (Region 2, second, 21-6), 6 p.m.

The winner likely will have to travel to undefeated and third-ranked Calhoun for the second round.

Rutland (Region 2, third, 11-15) at Westside-Augusta (Region 3, second, 16-5), 6 p.m.

Four of Westside's five losses have come to Laney.

Southwest (Region 2, fourth, 17-9) at Laney (Region 3, first, 24-2), 7:30 p.m.

Two losses in the region tournament place the Patriots opposite a team that is unbeaten at home. In addition to the Josey loss, Laney's only other setback came to top-ranked Morgan County.

Dodge County (Region 1, fourth, 19-8) at Cedar Grove (Region 4, fourth, 18-7), 6 p.m.

Dodge County has lost three of its past five, while Cedar Grove has won eight straight.

Class AA

Macon County (Region 4, third, 18-7) at Early County (Region 1, second, 21-7), 7 p.m.

Ninth-ranked Early County hosts 10th-ranked Macon County, with Early County knocking off second-ranked Seminole County and falling three points short of top-ranked Thomasville in the Region 1-AA Tournament championship game.

Fitzgerald (Region 1, third, 14-10) at Monticello (Region 4, second, 18-10), 7:30 p.m.

Both the Purple Hurricane of Fitzgerald and the Hurricanes of Monticello jumped a spot from their regular-season finish through upset victories in their respective region tournaments.

Bryan County (Region 2, fourth, 12-13) at Dublin (Region 3, first, 21-4), 7:30 p.m.

Bryan County finished sixth in its region during the regular season but upset Bacon County to reach the Class AAA Tournament and face the eighth-ranked Irish.

Lamar County (Region 4, fourth, 11-13) at Thomasville (Region 1, first, 26-1), 7 p.m.

Lamar County beat Region 4-AA Tournament champion Crawford County at the end of the regular season, only to lose by 40 to the Eagles in the region tourney. Top-ranked Thomasville's only loss came at Seminole County.

Seminole County (Region 1, fourth, 19-7) at Crawford County (Region 4, first, 22-3), 6 p.m.

A rematch of last year's Class AA Tournament championship game won by Seminole County comes unexpectedly early following Seminole County's two region tournament losses.

Vidalia (Region 2, third, 22-4) at Swainsboro (Region 2, second, 17-7), 6 p.m.

A loss to Benedictine in the semifinals of the region tournament put regular-season region champion Vidalia on the road.
