Class AAAAA

Warner Robins (Region 2, third, 20-2) at Glynn Academy (Region 3, first, 22-4), 5:30 p.m.

Warner Robins blew a huge lead in the region tournament semifinal loss, so how will the Demons respond?

Northside (Region 2, fourth, 15-7) at Brunswick (Region 3, first, 19-9)

Brunswick, which has three starters averaging in double figures, has won nine straight.

Class AAAA

Liberty County (Region 3, fourth, 7-15) at Veterans (Region 2, first, 23-4), 6 p.m.

The balanced Warhawks won their first-round game last year by four, but Bainbridge was 21-7.

Thomson (Region 3, third, 17-9 at Baldwin (Region 2, second, 21-7)

Baldwin has to recover from a poor second half against Veterans in the region tournament title game with a team similar to itself.

Howard (Region 2, third, 14-12) at Burke County (Region 3, second, 13-10), 6 p.m.

The Huskies have momentum, confidence and probably the best player in this game in Erica Moore.

West Laurens (Region 2, fourth, 19-9) at Wayne County (Region 3, first, 22-5), 6 p.m.

West Laurens has lost three of its past four games, but Martajah Tyler was hurt for some of those games and is back, a huge boost.

Class AAA

Josey (Region 3, fourth, 19-7, fourth) at Peach County (Region 2, first, 23-2), 6 p.m.

Peach County has won 11 straight, but Josey is 7-2 on the road, and all of its losses are to playoff teams.

Dodge County (Region 1, third, 18-7) at Westminster (Region 4, second, 20-6)

All of Dodge County's losses have been to quality teams, while Westminster's losses have been by an average of five points.

Central (Region 2, fourth, 16-11) at Laney (Region 3, first, 23-4), 6 p.m., Wednesday

Central's draw couldn't be much tougher than against a team with scores of quality wins and losses to teams with a 23-4 average record.

Jackson (Region 2, third, 11-16) at Washington County (Region 3, second, 21-7)

The Golden Hawks were stung by a 28-point loss in the region tournament title game, not good news for Jackson.

Class AA

Berrien (Region 1, fourth, 13-13) at Putnam County (Region 4, first, 21-4)

Rykia Pennamon and Ebony Hargrove (28.6 points combined) lead Putnam County, which is on a nine-game winning streak.

Fitzgerald (Region 1, third, 21-5) at Monticello (Region 4, second, 11-14), Wednesday

T'kayshza King and Kirstin Cook combine for nearly 30 points per game for Fitzgerald.

Bleckley County (Region 4, third, 16-6) at Thomasville (Region 1-AA, second, 14-14), 5:30 p.m.

Bleckley County lost at home in the region tournament, and Thomasville does have a win over region runner-up Fitzgerald in the region tourney.

Lamar County (Region 4, fourth, 15-9) at Pelham (Region 1, first, 23-1)

Pelham faces one of the state's top scorers in Daishai Almond (25.1 points per game), but the Trojans need others to step up to have a chance against a one-loss (to Class AAAAAA Lowndes) team.

East Laurens (Region 3, fourth, 10-14) at Vidalia (Region 2, first, 20-4)

Vidalia has won three straight region tournament titles and reached the quarterfinals last year.

Jefferson County (Region 3, third, 9-17) at Jeff Davis (Region 2, second, 23-2)

Jeff Davis' second loss was in the region tourney championship, and both losses have been to Vidalia, so Jefferson County faces an unhappy opponent.

St. Vincent's (Region 3, fourth, 15-11) at Dublin (Region 3, first, 19-9), 6 p.m., Wednesday

St. Vincent's is a tough first-round opponent, with the six losses since Jan. 1 coming to quality teams. Dublin's balance will be a key.
