THEY SAID IT
Jones County head coach Dennis Woolfolk on his team's fight: "It was a great high school basketball game, and I love playing against (Warner Robins head coach) Jamaal Garman because it is always a great game. I though we battled so hard the entire night but just could not quite get the win."
Garman on the importance of remaining undefeated in the sub-region. "It was very important to us, and you saw that in the way we played. Someone told me after the game we were down eight with about 40 seconds left, but we kept fighting, which we have done all year long".
Garman on Nelson's shot that tied the game in regulation: "It was a double clutch 3-pointer that probably wasn't supposed to go in, but it did, and we will take it. I think it probably should have been an and-one, too, because he got fouled.
Callaway on what a loss would have done to his signing day: "It would have left a sour taste in my mouth no doubt because I don't like losing, but I would still say that Wednesday is going to be an awesome day."
