FPD at Wilkinson County (girls), 6 p.m., Tuesday: The Vikings and the Warriors will be playing for the No. 3 seed in GHSA Region 7A-A. Wilkinson County won the first meeting 37-31.

Marion County at Taylor County girls, 6 p.m., Tuesday: Defending Class A public school girls champion Taylor County won the first meeting 70-59. Third-place Marion County has a win over Greenville, which handed second-ranked Taylor County its only Region 4-A loss. And Taylor County is only a game ahead of Greenville.

Warner Robins at Jones County boys, 7:30 p.m., Tuesday: Finishing as the only team to go undefeated in Region 2-AAAAA play is on the line for Warner Robins, while Jones County is going for what would be by far its best win of the season. The Demons held on 76-68 on Jan. 15 at home.

Veterans at Howard (boys), 7:30 p.m., Tuesday: Howard has an outside shot at the No. 3 seed in Region 2-AAAA.

Mary Persons at Crawford County boys, 7:30 p.m., Tuesday: It's a non-region game between a Class AAAA team that can get some confidence and momentum with a good performance at the raucous home of the reigning Class AA runner-up, where the Eagles haven't lost since Dec. 13, 2014.

West Laurens at Baldwin girls, 6 p.m., Friday: The Raiders enter the week a game behind the Braves and in second place in Region 2-AAAA. Baldwin, winner of two straight since losing to region champ Veterans, won the first meeting 63-56.

Peach County at Westside (boys), 7:30 p.m., Friday: One win this week gives Westside the No. 2 seed for the Region 2-AAA tournament, which means an automatic berth into the Class AAA playoffs. Westside also has an outside shot at the No. 1 seed should Central stumble this week in Columbus.

Upson-Lee at Howard boys, 7:30 p.m., Friday: Upson-Lee's final region game is against a hungry team wanting to lock down fourth in the region, and the Knights want to stay tied with Perry. Of course, seventh-ranked Upson-Lee has to beat West Laurens and Perry has to beat fifth-place Baldwin, both on Tuesday.

Perry at Warner Robins boys, 7:30 p.m., Friday: A nifty Houston County non-region battle pits two teams atop their region standings and look for a quality outing -- with Saturday off -- heading into region tournament week. The 30-point loss in November is Perry's worst margin of defeat this year by 16 points.

Dublin at Treutlen boys, 7:30 p.m. Saturday: Talk about some momentum entering region tournament action. Dublin is No. 3 in Class AA, and Treutlen is No. 3 in Class A public and has been No. 1. And it's senior night for the Vikings.
