Senior football showcase slated for February

An event in Atlanta will give high school football players who do not sign on National Signing Day another chance to be recruited.

The Unsigned Senior Football Showcase & College Recruiting Fair, presented by Football Recruiting Expos, will take place on Feb. 6 at Lakewood Stadium in Atlanta.

According to a release, coaches from NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, junior college and prep schools will be in attendance. The event includes position and agility drills, as well as competitive one-on-one drills.

An information session regarding the event will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in Macon at Central's auditorium.
