Scouting report: Should they win this weekend, Macon County and Lamar County will play for the region title Nov. 6 in Barnesville. Putnam County can share the region title with wins in its final two games and a Macon County win over Lamar County.
Putnam County clinches a playoff spot with a win in one of its final two games or a loss by both Bleckley County and Northeast.
Monticello clinches a playoff spot with a win over Northeast, so long as Bleckley County doesn't go 2-0 and Putnam County doesn't go 0-2. In that case, a three-way tiebreaker for two spots is triggered.
