Northside keeps its spot in sports writers poll
The Northside Eagles remained No. 1 in GHSA Class AAAAA of the Georgia Sports Writers Association poll after a comeback win over North Cobb last week.
Houston County remained No. 3 in Class AAAAA, while Jones County is No. 6.
In Class AAAA, West Laurens is No. 8, while Mary Persons is No. 10.
In Class AAA, Washington County is tied for sixth, while Peach County is No. 8.
In Class AA, Fitzgerald is second, Vidalia is fourth and Macon County is fifth. Lamar County received votes.
In Class A, Hawkinsville is No. 6, while FPD, Tattnall and Stratford all received votes.
