Perry high school football loses to Benedictine 41-17 at home
The Perry High School football lost to Benedictine High School, from Savannah, 41-17 on Friday at home in a region matchup. The teams played at Herb St. John Stadium in Perry, Georgia.
Perry gained some momentum in the second half, with both of the team’s touchdowns scored in the third quarter. But key Perry turnovers allowed Benedictine to dominate offensively.
With the loss, Perry Panthers move to 4-5 for the season and 2-2 in the 1-AAAA region, while Benedictine remains undefeated in the region with a 6-2 overall record.
