The Warner Robins Demons defeated the Veterans Warhawks 27-17 in a game that came down to the final seconds, sealed by a crucial interception.
The teams played at Freedom Field in Warner Robins Friday night. As the Veterans offense tried to gain the lead in the final seconds of the game, Warner Robins junior safety Jamarcus Allen picked off a pass near his own end zone and returned it for a touchdown to seal the Demons’ win.
The win on Friday moved Warner Robins into a winning 3-2 record, while Veterans’ record for the season sits at 2-3.
