WACO's Gray commits to North Carolina

Washington County junior Allisha Gray has committed to the University of North Carolina.

The two-time All-Middle Georgia Player of the Year picked the Tar Heels over South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky.

Gray, who is ranked by ESPN.com as one of the top 10 juniors in the country, led Washington County to the GHSA championship game in March before the Golden Hawks lost to Columbia. Gray led the Golden Hawks to the championship as a sophomore.

Gray averaged more than 30 points per game as a junior.
