Who is Middle Georgia’s High School Volleyball Player of the Year? Vote here

It’s time to use your voice and vote for Middle Georgia’s Most Outstanding Volleyball Player.

Middle Georgia saw some standout teams this year, with several area high schools qualifying for the playoffs. Some of the top players in our poll were nominated by their schools. Others were selected after reviewing statistics and performances this season.

You can vote as many times as you’d like until the poll closes on Dec. 6 at 11:59 p.m. The poll is not scientific, and you can vote again by refreshing the page. Non-subscribers wanting to vote can get a special deal on a subscription at macon.com/subscribe.

Get to know the nominees here:

  • Mykiah Williams, Warner Robins High School: Williams has 259 kills and 222 serving aces in her career.

  • Nayla Ward, Veterans High School: Ward led the team in kills this season and was named 1st Team All-Region (5A).

  • Kelly Grace Perrin, Stratford Academy: Perrin had 132 kills this season, more than double the national average, and was among the top 200 hitting percentages in the state.

  • Emma Smith, Perry High School: Smith had 92 kills this season. She is in the top 200 players in Georgia for career assists.

  • Sarah Dunford, Houston County High School: Dunford led the Houston County team in serving aces this season with 50. She also had 131 kills.

  • Jayla Barkley, Mary Persons High School: Barkley had 123 kills for a 28.4 kill percentage.
