Who was the best high school football player in Middle Georgia in Week 5? Vote now.

The Telegraph will hold a vote every week to allow fans to decide who will be the High School Football Player of the Week. Once a player has won the Player of the Week award then they are automatically nominated for the Player of the Year.

The first poll features a list of candidates from across Middle Georgia who turned in outstanding performances last week.

Candidates were selected by Justin Baxley. If you would like to nominate players for the poll, send an email to jbaxley@macon.com.

The poll will close at 6 a.m. Friday and the winner will be announced at 1 p.m. Friday on The Telegraph’s Facebook page
