FPD’s Spivey wins golf tourney at Clemson

Jay Spivey, a sophomore at FPD, won the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s College Prep Series event at Clemson on Tuesday.

Spivey won the two-day, 36-hole event at 6-over-par 150. He shot two rounds of 3-over 75, winning the tournament by two shots over Drew Lanier of Maitland, Florida.

The tournament was played on Clemson’s Walker Course.
