Three Georgia athletics programs recorded perfect Academic Progress Rate scores, according to this year's release by the NCAA.

The Georgia men's tennis, women's cross-country and volleyball teams all scored 1,000 points, the highest score in the APR calculation scale. APR is used to track the academic progress and the retention of student-athletes at a particular institution.

Programs that score under 930 are subject to a postseason ban from the NCAA. Georgia did not have a team notch a score lower than 961.

Georgia's men's basketball team recorded an APR of 985, which ranks fourth in the SEC. As a result, head coach Mark Fox will receive a $50,000 bonus per his contract.

The Georgia gymnastics (995), men's cross-country (994), women's golf (994), women's swimming (993), soccer (993) and women's tennis (992) all earned nearly perfect APR scores. Men's golf (988), women's track and field (986), women's basketball (978), men's track and field (976) and baseball (972) all posted standout numbers.

The four teams not to break 970 were men's swimming (965), football (961) and softball (961). As for football, its APR score ranks 12th in the SEC and only in front of LSU (959) and Kentucky (958). Georgia football's APR did not change from the 961 mark it recorded in 2016.
