Georgia's John Theus named to coaches' All-SEC first team
Offensive tackle John Theus was Georgia's lone representative on the coaches' All-SEC first team, which was announced on Tuesday.
Theus started the first eight games at left tackle before moving to right tackle when Georgia shuffled up its offensive line. Theus started every game over the past two years.
Junior linebacker Leonard Floyd and sophomore safety Dominick Sanders were named to the All-SEC second team. Floyd totaled 68 tackles, which ranked second on the team. He also had 10.5 tackles for loss. Floyd announced he will bypass his final year of eligibility and head to the NFL draft.
Sanders recorded a team-high five interceptions and recorded 45 tackles. He's started every game this season except against Florida, when he was suspended for the first half after committing a targeting penalty against Missouri.
Not included on either team was outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins.
The SEC individual winners will be announced on Wednesday, which will be followed by the SEC All-Freshman team on Thursday.
