LIVE: No. 4 Georgia faces No. 2 LSU at Mercedes Benz Stadium for SEC Championship
The Georgia Bulldogs are set to take on the Louisiana State University Tigers at Mercedes Benz Stadium at 4 p.m. EST.
The Bulldogs are 11-1 after coasting to easy wins for the first half of the season, but eventually stumbling against South Carolina. The loss marked the Bulldogs’ first loss at home since 2016.
Georgia clinched the SEC East title for the third season in a row with a 21-14 win over the Auburn Tigers. Last weekend, the Bulldogs handily defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 52-7 in Atlanta.
The Bulldogs currently sit at No. 4 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
LSU completed an undefeated regular season and is ranked No. 2 in the CFP rankings behind Ohio State.
