Mercer adds men's golf assistant

Mercer men's golf head coach Kirk Kayden announced that Todd Eckstein will be joining the Bears' coaching staff as an assistant coach.

Eckstein comes to Mercer from Davidson, where he served as a volunteer assistant during the 2015 fall season.

Prior to moving to the coaching ranks, Eckstein enjoyed a four-year career on the Wildcats' men's golf team. A 2015 Cleveland Golf/Srixon Academic All-American, Eckstein earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference recognition in 2015, after taking home 2013 Southern Conference all-tournament honors in 2013. He helped lead Davidson to a pair of team victories during his career while recording six top-10 individual finishes.
