Mercer women's basketball takes care of Kennesaw State

Kahlia Lawrence scored a career-high 29 points to lead a trio of double-figure scorers as the Mercer women's basketball team defeated Kennesaw State 72-61 on Saturday afternoon.

Sydni Means tied her career high of 15 points and Linnea Rosendal added 12 for the Bears.

Deandrea Sawyers and Kelly Dulkoski led Kennesaw State with 23 and 20 points, respectively.

Mercer (5-3) hosts Faulkner at 2 p.m. on Dec. 13.
