Mercer basketball season tickets on sale

Season ticket packages for the Mercer men’s and women’s basketball season are now available for purchase, the university announced Thursday in a release.

The men’s season package includes tickets to 14 home games forf $150, while the women’s season ticket package includes 15 regular-season contests for $25.

Both teams enter their second season competing in the Southern Conference. The men’s and women’s squads each finished third in the conference in the Bears’ inaugural season in the Southern Conference, with the men going 12-6 and the women posting a record of 9-5.

The Mercer men’s team will play nine home conference games in the upcoming season, while women have seven home conference games.

The men’s and women’s squads each feature challenging non-conference slates. The men’s squad will host Allen, George Mason, Alabama State, Hiwassee and Alcorn State, while the women welcome Coastal Georgia, Georgia Southern, Saint Louis, Faulkner, Southern Illinois, Jacksonville State, College of Charleston and North Florida.
