Mercer picked fourth in Southern Conference women’s soccer

Defending conference tournament champion Mercer was picked to finish fourth this season by Southern Conference women’s soccer coaches.

The Bears earned 61 points, eight behind East Tennessee State and 13 in front of North Carolina Greensboro.

Defender Sarah Daane and goalkeeper Maggie Cropp were named to the preseason all-conference team. ETSU had three on the 11-person team, while Samford, Furman, UNCG also had two each.
