Mercer publishes cross country schedules

The Mercer men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete in five regular-season meets this fall in its second season in the Southern Conference.

Mercer will open the season Sept. 4 at the Strut’s Season Opener hosted by Jacksonville State, then travel to Furman for the Furman Cross Country Classic on Sept. 12.

The Bears will host the Julius Johnson Invitational on Sept. 25 before finishing the season with a two-meet road swing at the Upstate Invitational hosted by USC Upstate on Oct. 3 and the Cross Country Only National Invitational hosted by Richmond on Oct. 17.

The Southern Conference championship meet will take place Oct. 31 at Furman. Mercer will also compete in the NCAA South Regionals on Nov. 13 at Alabama.
