Two FVSU games to air on DirecTV channel

Two Fort Valley State football games this fall will air on a channel available in Middle Georgia through DirecTV.

The Wildcats’ Sept. 4 opener against Miles in the Labor Day Golden Classic in Birmingham, Alabama, will be carried by ASPiRE TV, as will the Nov. 5 Fountain City Classic in Columbus against Albany State.

ASPiRE TV airs on DirecTV channel 381. The channel also will carry the Oct. 8 Morehouse-Tuskegee game and the Nov. 12 SIAC championship game.

“We are very excited to continue this important broadcast partnership with ASPiRE,” SIAC commissioner Greg Moore said in a release from Fort Valley State. “We look forward to and appreciate the additional exposure this agreement will provide to both SIAC student-athletes and member institutions.”
