Georgia College baseball sends Flagler to defeat
Georgia College baseball defeated the Flagler College Saints 14-7 on Sunday in the final game of the weekend series in Milledgeville.
The Bobcats (4-6, 1-2 Peach Belt Conference) had a monumental first inning when a grand slam from Tanner Giesel put himself and three other teammates across the plate. Two more runs in the same inning from Georgia College established an early six-run lead for the Bobcats.
Also homering for Georgia College were Logan Mattix and Matthew Miller. Bryce Bush was the winning pitcher.
Georgia College hosts USC Aiken in a three-game series that begins Friday.
