Second half dooms Fort Valley State men

Fort Valley State's six-point lead at halftime was gone five minutes into the second half as Morehouse won 76-67 Thursday in SIAC men's basketball.

FVSU fell to 2-15 and 0-7 while Morehouse improved to 6-6 and 3-4.

Maritea Duke and Dareial Franklin had 14 points each for FVSU, Duke lead all players with 11 rebounds.

The Wildcats finally lost the lead on Ayidne Russell's layup with 15:42 left in the game. Morehouse led by 11 once momentarily and 10 a few times.
