Georgia College men move up a spot

On the strength of a 2-1 week, the Georgia College men's basketball team improved one slot to eighth in the latest D2SIDA Southeast Region media poll, released Monday.

The Bobcats (11-4, 4-2 in the Peach Belt) have been in the region's top 10 for four straight weeks. The Bobcats are third among the four Peach Belt Conference schools in the list, behind No. 3 Columbus State, No. 5 Lander and No. 9 Young Harris. Lincoln Memorial holds the top slot, with all six first-place votes.

The Bobcats are back in action Wednesday at Clayton State, which received votes in the poll.
