GMC selected for junior college bowl game

The GMC junior college football team will take on Iowa Western in the Graphic Edge Bowl in Cedar Falls, Iowa, GMC announced Wednesday.

GMC, ranked 17th, went 8-3 during the regular season. The Bulldogs will take on fifth-ranked Iowa Western, which went 9-2. The game will be played Dec. 6 at the University of Northern Iowa Dome.

The teams met in 2012 and 2013, with Iowa Western winning in 2012 and GMC prevailing in 2013 en route to a national championship game appearance.

The game is slated for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
