Georgia College sharp in volleyball tournament

Georgia College won two matches at the Francis Marion Invitational on Friday to improve to 3-2.

The Bobcats started the day with a straight-set win over West Alabama (1-4) and a marathon five-setter with North Greenville (4-2).

The Bobcats made quick work of West Alabama, winning 25-19, 25-21 and 25-21.

After losing the first set 25-23, North Georgia won 25-19 and 25-22. The Bobcats finished out 25-21 and 15-11 to get the win.

The tournament continued Saturday.
