Game time for Fort Valley State-Valdosta State game moved
Fort Valley State and Valdosta State are scheduled to play Saturday in Waycross. The game time was changed from its original 7 p.m. kickoff start.
The game will now kick off at 3 p.m. because of concerns about Hurricane Irma.
Both teams lost their season opener last week: Fort Valley State 34-9 to West Georgia and Valdosta State 29-12 to Albany State.
Valdosta State beat Fort Valley State 36-21 in 2013 in Macon in the teams’ most recent meeting.
Currently, none of Friday night’s area high school game times have been changed.
