Fort Valley State falls to West Georgia in season opener

The Fort Valley State Wildcats dropped a 34-9 decision to West Georgia on Thursday in their season opener.

Fort Valley State’s next game is Sept. 9 against Valdosta State in Waycross.

On Thursday, Jamari Clark had 11 rushes for 66 yards and a touchdown. He added five receptions for 40 yards.

Slade Jarman completed 13-of-26 passes for 107 yards as the Wildcats finished with 227 total yards.
