Northside, Jones County high in Maxwell Ratings
The Maxwell Ratings website has started its preseason look at projecting each region in the state and ranking teams in each classification.
Three classes are out so far.
Valdosta is its pick to win Region 1-6A, with Northside second and Houston County fifth. Overall in the classification, Northside was ranked fifth and Houston County 10th.
Jones County was the top area school in Class 5A at No. 5, while Warner Robins was No. 10 and Veterans No. 25. The Greyhounds are predicted second in Region 4-5A, behind Stockbridge.
In Region 2-5A, Warner Robins is projected to finish second and Veterans fourth in the five-team region.
