Mercer women’s soccer adds midfielder

Mercer women’s soccer head coach Tony Economopoulos has added Jasmine Spence to the 2016 signing class.

Spence has played for both the Bermuda Football Association and the Football Association of Wales, representing both teams in international competitions. Spence played at Montverde Academy in Florida for five years, helping the team to a No. 1 ranking by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

The Bears finished 9-8-4 overall and 5-3-1 in Southern Conference play last season.
