Westfield to celebrate Jones’ career

Westfield is hosting a retirement celebration for former football head coach Ronnie Jones on Saturday.

It begins in the school gym at 6:30 p.m., and tickets are $12 for adults and children 11 and older, and $5 for children under 10.

Jones announced his retirement in early December after 23 seasons at Westfield and 40 seasons overall, going 346-126-5 with two GISA Class AAA state championships.
