Bryan Wimberly had an excellent evening in the Wednesday Mixed league by posting the tenth 800 series (811) of the year, This occurred at the Macon Gold Cup Center. He also scored a perfect game (the 33rd of the season).

RESULTS FROM ALL-STAR TOURNAMENTS

Results of three all-star tournaments have been finalized. In the Georgia All-Star tournament, placing in the top 20 were Corey Conger (ninth), Jerod Dumas (13th) and Bryan Carrier (20th). In the Larry Shafer Senior All-Star tournament, Middle Georgia Team Number One finished third. Team members were Dan Bueno, Wyatt Crandall, Gene Lehman, Stephen Putnam, Todd Manning and Robert Walker. Walker also captured 17th place in the Super Seniors All-Star tournament.

GEORGIA HIGH SCHOOL TOURNAMENT

Competing in the finals of the Georgia High School Scholarship tournament, two champions were crowned -- Dawson Cline (from Calhoun) in the scratch division and Brandon Wilson (from Warner Robins) in the handicap division.

MACON ACTION

Commercial Tenpin bowlers with the top scores were Mike Smith (770), David Hutcherson (719), John Fisher (708/279 game), James Dillard (705), Al Nunez (703) and Malea Scaggs (253 game). Cohen Bickley (279 game) and Rico Greene (275 game) excelled in the Outsiders league. The Wednesday night group had highs from Travis Patterson (two-770 sets/277 game), Bill Johnson (741), Trey Smith (712), Ryan Alley (705) and James Rosario (279 game). Thursday plaudits go to Terry Johnson (790/279 game) and Robert Miller (279 game). Kevin Huffman (719 and 713) and Bernice Davis (619 and 615/253 game) topped the leaderboard in two leagues. Other scores of interest included William Smith (696), Jerod Dumas (692), Daryl Leslie (691), Tim Farley (685), Latrone James (683), Kevin Hayes (680), Bayne Mallary (676), Joe Gary (675) and Donna Carroll (584). Top score in the Kings and Queens went to Justin Gordon (748/288 game). Scoring in the Men's Commercial league were Mike Handley (747/290 game), Bobby Morgan (741) and Corey Jackson (729/279 game). The New Kids in the Alley were paced by Terry Johnson (779/280 game), Wyatt Crandall (763), Amber Lethco (67 1/258 game), Arnita West (670), James Dinkins II (299 game) and Candice Shinholster (257 game). Leading the Town and Country bowlers were William Amaral (728), Kevin Dimuzio (717), Kimberly Conger (628/268 game) and Robert French (279 game).
