TOOLS OF THE TRADE
Q: I throw my first ball and leave the 10-pin, but the 7-pin slides across the lane into the 9-pin position. Is this considered a 7-10 split?
A: USBC rules state that splits are determined by the pin position prior to ball delivery and not after delivery. If this split is made, the bowler is credited with picking up the 7-10 split.
