Conal Jackson rolls his second 800 series; five 300s bowled
Conal Jackson started the onslaught of honor scores with his second 800 (827/278 game) series of the current year. This was the fourth 800 set of the season, and it occurred in the New Kids in the Alley league at Gold Cup on Russell Parkway.
William Smith III, Bryan Wimberly and Bayne Mallary followed by rolling the 17th, 18th and 19th perfect games of the year. Participating in the Wednesday Night Mixed league at Macon Gold Cup they recorded 777, 718 and 766 series, respectively. James Dillard scored the season's 20th 300 in posting a 696 total at the same Macon center in the Commercial Tenpin league.
Two more 300 games were recorded in Warner Robins during the past reporting period. Jimmy Jean (747 series) became the 21st person to post a perfect game this season. Dave Jones (698 series) rolled the 22nd perfect game, Both were recorded in the AFRC Mixed league at Robins Lanes.
MIX IT UP TOURNAMENT
The 2015-2016 Mix It Up tournament in Warner Robins has been completed. Bowlers were divided into singles and doubles based on handicap or scratch. The winners in each category were:

Topping the Thursday leagues were David Hutcherson (705) and James Dillard (278 game). Johnnie Pryor (700) was outstanding on Sunday night. Heading up the New Kids in the Alley were Trellis Hamilton (764/299 game), Woody Ross (727/279 game), Arnita West (683/279 game), Lisa Kilinski (628) and Narrio Gibbs (297 game). David Aman (773), Mike Mathes (716), Cathy Copeland (714/254 game) and Robert French (289 game) highlighted the Town and Country bowlers. The Tuesday leaders were Harry Reid (760), Kevin Dimuzzio (719), James Rosario (717) and Lin Taylor (707). Kyle Snell (784/279 and 290 games) rolled excellent scores in multiple leagues. Q: Can players be added to a team roster any time during the season?
A: USBC does not have any rules regarding when a roster can be completed. Team captains have the authority to add players at any time during the season, but this must be done in compliance with league rules.
EVENTS UPDATE
The Gold Cup Teen Challenge Youth tournament will continue at 11 a.m. on Sunday and Saturday and Jan. 3 at the Warner Robins Gold Cup Bowling Center.
The Georgia State Youth Leader tournament will be held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 10 at the Warner Robins Gold Cup Bowling Center.
The 2016 USBC Ladies Macon City tournament will be held Feb. 20 and 21 at the Macon Gold Cup Bowling Center. The entry fee is $20 per bowler, and the deadline to enter is Feb. 13.
The 35th annual Georgia State USBC WBA Queens and Senior Queens tournaments will be held on Feb. 27-28 in Milledgeville. The entry fee is $55 per bowler for individual competition, and the deadline to enter is Feb. 5.
The 60th annual Georgia State USBC Women's Handicap Championships will be held on weekends from March 5 through March 20 in Snellville and Lawrenceville. Singles, doubles and team events will be held. The entry fee is $24 per bowler per event, and the deadline to enter is Jan. 15.
