Two Warner Robins bowlers roll perfect games
Two more 300 games were recorded in Warner Robins during the past two weeks. Scott StCyr became the 15th person to post a perfect game this season in the Friday Night Mixed league at Robins Lanes. Javerica Payne rolled the 16th perfect game in the New Kids in the Alley league at Gold Cup on Russell Parkway.
GEORGIA YOUTH TOURNAMENT
Two local youths placed in the Georgia High School tournament. Jarred McCarley won the scratch division. Darius Little captured second in the handicap division. The first-place and third-place winners were from Atlanta. This is Little's first year of bowling.
MIDDLE GEORGIA SENIORS TOURNAMENT
The USBC Middle Georgia Seniors tournament has been completed. Bowlers were divided into six handicap age groups -- 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75-and-above. The local winners in each category were:
Female All Events: Carolyn Helmick (50-54), Marie Nicholson (55-59), Donna Mauro (65-69), Patricia Yaroch (70-74) and Janette Daniell (75+).
Female Doubles: Marie Nicholson and Yaroch (55-59), and Sylvia DeHoyas and Daniell (75+).
Female Singles: Helmick (50-54), Annette Wyche (55-59), Maggie Pope (65-69), Jan Collier (70-74) and Daniell (75+).

Due to the Thanksgiving holidays, action was very limited. Thursday belonged to Chad McCormick (290 game). High for the seniors went to Donna Maynard (569).
WARNER ROBINS ACTION
Scoring in the Men's Commercial were Jay Taylor (759/289 game) and Chuck Hebenstreit (707). Excelling in the New Kids in the Alley group were Melvin Adams (769), Mark Petit (746/277 game), Amber Lethco (663) and Valerie Jackson (657). Kadrian Kimbrough (720), Wyatt Crandall (713) and Paul Higginbotham (278 game) were great in the Town and Country league. James Rosario had a nice 706 total with a 278 game in the Tuesday night doubles. Cathy Copeland (708 and 676/255 game) and Kim Conger (717 and 665/257 game) were terrific in two leagues. Other bowlers posting high series were Justin Gordon (692) and James Copeland (689). Mike Mauro (680), John Fisher (620), John Trichintotis (613) Linna Nielsen (572) were senior superlatives. Michael Bolt (610) topped the youth.
ROBINS AFB ACTION
Top Charity league individuals were Gene Lehman (712/279 game) and Shari Rawls (608). Jim Fee Jr (78 1/278 game) was best in the Tuesday Peterson Point league. The leading Friday bowler was Carolyn Helmick (642). Woody Ross Jr (748 and 718) and Steve Putnam (744 and 716/278 game) scored in two leagues. Others posting highs were Stephen Lackey Sr (675) and Courtney StCyr (588). Youth star was NeCole Hilton (628).

A: Sixty feet. Most bowlers wish this was a few feet shorter when trying to pick up corner pins.
EVENTS UPDATE
The USBC Ladies Macon City Tournament will be held Feb. 20-21 at the Macon Gold Cup Bowling Center. The entry fee is $20 per bowler, and the deadline to enter is Feb. 13.
The 35th annual Georgia State USBC WBA Queens and Senior Queens tournaments will be held Feb. 27-28 in Milledgeville. The entry fee is $55 per bowler for individual competition, and the deadline to enter is Feb. 5.
The 60th annual Georgia State USBC Women's Handicap championships will be held on weekends from March 5-20 in Snellville and Lawrenceville. Singles, doubles and team events will be held. The entry fee is $24 per bowler per event, and the deadline to enter is Jan. 15.
