Two more perfect games recorded
The seventh and eighth perfect games of the current season were recorded by Chris Gould (710) of the Kings and Queens league at Warner Robins Gold Cup and Len Jackson (752) of the Outsiders league at Macon Gold Cup. This was Gould's second 300 of the current season.

With the old oiling machine now back in operation, the scores at Macon Gold Cup have started to approach those of the past season. Rolling terrific series Wednesday night were Bryan Wimberly (758), William Smith III (713/279 game) and Jerod Dumas (703). Willie Thomas (277) and Paul Ficklin (275) posted nice games Thursday night. David Hutcherson had 278 games in both the Outsiders and Wednesday Night Mixed leagues. Other bowlers who excelled included ET Stanley (692), Al Nunez (687), Travis Patterson (680), Jeanette Overstreet (598) and Saundra Parks (578). The seniors were topped by Calvin Hill (629) and Roger Harris (605).

The pins were falling in the Men's Commercial league with the high coming from Kirk Thompson (729/279 game). Q: How soon prior to a match can a team make a postponement?
A: Prior to 2010, a postponement had to be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled match. In 2010, the rule was changed where postponements can now be made up to the time of the match.
EVENTS UPDATE
The 35th annual Georgia State USBC WBA Queens and Senior Queens tournaments will be held Feb. 27-28 in Milledgeville. The entry fee is $55 per bowler for individual competition, and the deadline to enter is Feb. 5.
The 60th annual Georgia State USBC Women's Handicap Championships will be held on weekends from March 5 through March 20 in Snellville and Lawrenceville. Singles, doubles and team events will be held. The entry fee is $24 per bowler per event, and the deadline to enter is Jan. 15.
