TOOLS OF THE TRADE
Q: When I bowl a perfect strike, how many pins does my ball touch?
A: Four. For a right-handed bowler the ball contacts only the 1,3,5 and 9 pins. Left-handers contact the 1,2.5 and 8 pins. So, theoretically, if one bowls a perfect game (300), only 48 pins are hit.
