Doug Hanzel keeps lead at GSGA Senior Championship

Savannah’s Doug Hanzel fired a 3-under-par 69 on Thursday in the second round of the Georgia Senior Championship at the Brickyard at Riverside to lead by six shots.

Hanzel, who won the tournament last year, sits at 5 under through 36 holes. Three players are at 1 over: Mark Nickerson of Roswell (74-71), John Skeadas II of Savannah (73-72) and Jack Kearney of Peachtree City (71-74).

The final round is set for Friday.
