Former NFL Star Tiki Barber Rips 'Cocky' Victor Wembanyama
Former NFL star and current New York City radio host Tiki Barber is not a fan of Spurs star Victor Wembanyama.
The Spurs are trailing the Knicks, 3-1, heading into Game 5 of the 2026 NBA Finals. The Knicks rallied from a 29-point deficit in Game 4 at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday evening. Game 5 is set for Saturday night.
Barber, who starred at running back for the New York Giants, has made it clear that he doesn't like Wembanyama. And he's been very happy to see Wembanyama getting "punked" this series.
Barber, who previously sounded off on Sixers big man Joel Embiid, went after Wembanyama following the Game 4 victory.

Barber is not holding back.
"He's a cocky (expletive), Wemby is. He really is. There's no humility in his game," Barber ranted. "And the problem, just like Jeremy Shockey pointing to the scoreboard against the San Francisco 49ers in 2002, is that when it comes back to get you, nobody feels sorry for you. Everybody says you deserved it.
"Wemby, you deserved to miss two free throws at the end. You deserved to get punked and shoot 2-11 in the fourth quarter. You deserved everything you got because you put it way out there before, against a team in the Knicks who are committed to winning every moment. Every moment! And the Spurs weren't."
Game 5 is set for Saturday night.
Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. E.T. on ABC.
