Mexico Squad for FIFA World Cup 2026 - Key Players, Coach, Captain & Predicted Lineups

Mexico will open the historic 48-team FIFA World Cup 2026 against South Africa at the iconic Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

The match will mark another milestone for Mexican football, as Mexico becomes the first nation to host World Cup matches across three different tournaments (1970, 1986, and 2026).

El Tri have been drawn into Group A alongside South Africa, South Korea, and Czechia, with all of their group-stage matches set to be played on home soil.
