Carmelo Anthony Calls Out Victor Wembanyama After Game 5 Loss

The San Antonio Spurs suffered a critical loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, falling with a 127-114 final score on Tuesday night.

Superstar center Victor Wembanayama had his worst game of the series, scoring 20 points on 4/15 shooting from the field and 0/5 shooting from behind the 3-point arc. The 7-foot-4 Frenchman finished the game with just six rebounds to go along with his three blocks and two steals.

The Spurs are now 0-3 in the Western Conference Finals when Wembanyama scores less than 30 points. The Thunder lead the series 3-2 heading into Game 6.

After the Game 5 loss on Tuesday night, NBA analyst Carmelo Anthony called out Wembanyama’s lack of production.

"Wemby from the beginning of the game, looked like he was just going through the motions,” Anthony said postgame. “Tonight I saw a tired Wemby. I saw a young, tired Wemby who couldn't figure it out."
