POLL: Who was the best Middle Georgia high school football player in Week 2?
Week 2 of high school football in Middle Georgia did not disappoint, as multiple games in the area provided high-scoring fireworks for fans. The game of the week was easily Houston County’s matchup against Perry, where the Bears roared back from a 28-3 deficit to win a 57-56 shootout on a last-second touchdown and two-point conversion.
Other big Week 2 games included a strong bounceback win for Northside over Peach County, another blowout for Mary Persons and all of Westside, ACE and Howard improving to 2-0 on the season.
